Karadoo Finance Limited (“Karadoo”) operates flexible, bespoke fundraising platforms, delivering INNOVATION and VALUE to huge (and growing) addressable markets. Karadoo currently has three platforms “in play”.
Our first fundraising platform was hard launched in January 2019 and serves the UK’s 28,000 schools by helping them to raise much needed funds by crowdfunding a project, enabling a Regular Giving campaign or facilitating sponsorship fundraising by 30 million pupils, parents and staff. We hard launched DonateMySchool.com in January 2019, and by the end of 2019, we were delighted that our 100 th school had registered – clearly demonstrating that the concept – and demand – are well and truly proven.
This is developed and will be hard launched in early 2020. Our FCA authorisations for peer to peer lending and equity crowdfunding means that the UK’s 151,000 sports clubs and associations can raise funds by way of donations, loans or equity – or any combination of those – from almost anyone. No other fundraising platform in the UK can do that. InvestMyClub offers a flexible and comprehensive funding options in a single, unique package.
The UK’s 166,000 charities face an urgent crisis – they receive over £10bn in donations annually of which over 50% are cash. But cash donations are diminishing year on year as its use declines. Furthermore, 71% of charities say that they do not have the expertise to run a fundraising campaign. Those two factors taken together explain why 49% of charities fear that they will not exist in 5 years, and impacting the good causes that they support.
DonateMyCause offers the answer to both of these challenges. Firstly, charities need to accelerate their migration to technology led donation solutions. Our platform offers safe, secure online fundraising by way of one-off or regular donations, and enable almost anyone to raise funds for a charity themselves by way of sponsorship. Complementing and extending this service in early 2020 we will launch our contactless donation terminals. Secondly, the same unique Premium Service that we offer schools will offer resource and expertise to maximise fundraising success for charities, too.
